Behind it all…

Posted on: 26 March 2010 at 0855 - Comment

While not everyone could be in the photo, those who were played an intricate part in making @TwestivalSF a possibility.  Everyone is to thank.  This amazing team pictured above focused their efforts and energy on one thing for one night, and that was to raise money for @Concern.

Special thanks go to the following people:

  • @zbowling for making those name tags seemless.
  • @iplaywithfood for making amazing food and listening to me bitch everytime I come into Horizon
  • @horizonlounge for being so open arms and gracious and letting us using the venue
  • Kendra for bringing in an amazing band that rocked so much we wanted to hear them play more!
  • Andrew Landini for his amazing video crew and doing this year after year
  • Andrew Laubacher and Adam for coming together last minute and seeing everything through to the minuet detail
  • @lauralovesart and @fogfish for being our donation rounder uppers
  • @sylvieT for doing everything she did with our marketing and pr
  • @calamari for all of your amazing art work that you contribute year after year even when you dont have time you still manage to make things happen last minute
  • @joshdamon for being the amazing DJ that you are, and realizing its not about the self promotion, its about the charity
  • @Whitemenace and @MilesTheDJ for being 2 amazing radio hosts with big hearts.
  • @geoffgasper and @c4ss4ndr4 for being @krystyl’s right hand people.  Without your hard work and dedication every step of the way, we would not have gotten Tweets like this:

Thank you to @Stroke9, @lukester and @siouxcity_kid for rockin the house last night!

To check out all of the pictures that were uploaded in real time last night thanks to @gillat and @hookjaw from @eyeficard, visit http://www.flickr.com/twestivalsf

See you all next year!!!

Crumpler Bags

Posted on: 25 March 2010 at 0925 - Comment

We have a few amazing bags from Crumpler to be raffled off tonight!

One of them is The 8 Million Dollar Home (This is the name of the bag, not the home you will be winning)

This amazing bag is specially made for all of your camera equipment. Ideal for you tech event photographers! Make sure to purchase your raffle tickets tonight!

Specs
FEATURES

Water resistant 900D shell & 150D Ripstop lining, 1 x external pocket with 2 X internal pockets 2 x internal side pockets, 1 x internal mesh zip pocket & “super stealth” velcro cover, Padded & Brushed Nylon lined main compartment plus numerous configurable dividers, plastic stiffening layer in base. Adjustable removable, 13” laptop sleeve. Adjustable shoulder strap. Shoulder Pad. Side gear loops, Carry handle.

HOLDS

Crumpler’s NEW 8 Million Dollar Home provides the logical bridge between the 7 Mill and the Brazillion. A newly renovated, low profile shoulder bag offering protection for all your photo +/or video gear. Features our new velcro silencer, as standard for the the entire Million Dollar Home range (06A-10A), for those who prefer those quieter photo expeditions! The footprint is that of the 7 Mill but with added depth allowing one to vertically stash a Pro D-SLR with 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached (hood reversed). There’s room down the sides for your essential chunky zooms, primes and or speedlights. We’ve also thrown in a new configurable divider which transforms the 8 Mill into a photo/laptop bag suitable, at a pinch, to hold a 13” laptop along with your photo/video equipment. Loaded sensibly and sparingly, the 8 Mill will facilitate the modern D-SLR in sport/portrait, shoot-to-thrill mode, whilst allowing stealthily secure yet accessible lens changes.
